Job Title: Production Associate

Department: Core Department 117

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Facility location: Chester, CT

Summary: Performs complex assembly operations by assembling parts and subassemblies

Duties and Responsibilities

· Mechanical and technical skills

· Dexterity and hand-eye coordination

· Attention to detail

· Ability to read and follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.

· Working collaboratively with other members of the assembly line team

· Meeting production targets and deadlines

· Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.

· Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.

· Follow company procedures and directives.

· Test finished products for defects.

· Maintain the tools used to create products.

· Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

· Basic computer skills to scan in and out of routers and printing required documentation

· Good communication skills

· Ability to be flexible and willingness to interdepartmental cross train as workload requires

· Resolves routine questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher level

Education and Experience

· High School w/6+ years’ experience or AA/AS/Technical School w/3-6 years’ experience

Physical demands and abilities

· Able to lift up to 35 pounds

· Regularly performs repetitive tasks

· Able to stand for entire shift

· Regularly possesses manual dexterity to put parts or pieces together quickly and accurately

· Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
